New technologies and materials such as nano-technology, ubiquitous networking and bio-pharmaceuticals have been introduced one after another into our society.
Today, global competition is getting stronger day by day.
Nevertheless, we cannot overlook the impact on animal life and human beings, as well as on plants and trees, of various destructive elements introduced by industry into the environment. It is my belief that we industrial companies should constantly strive to harmonize what we do with nature.

We should try to develop unique technologies and new natural products using chemistry appropriate to the life science field--and do so by fusing synthetic chemicals with substances found in nature, using our basic technology, our synthetic chemistry and finally our own engineering methods.
We should also pay close attention to the splendid traditional food culture in our country.
Our overall goal must be to contribute to environmental protection and to human health in a safer society. It follows that we wish to grow and to become a stronger company in the world.
